2007 – 2026: 19 Years CU
How it all began: I’ve spent countless hours belaying with my climbing family – often resulting in severe neck and back pain! As a passionate sport climber, I didn’t want to give up climbing and considered how to avoid neck and back pain. After various experiments with mirrors, I had the idea for prisms. Viktor Blank, a friend and brilliant product designer, developed the intricate design of the glasses. After numerous tests with various prototypes and nine months of development, our baby, the CU belay glasses, was born.
