The O-Key is a small tool to untie a Figure-eight loop. O-Key prevents Figure-eight loop from pulling, thus facilitating the opening of the binding knot.
The O-Key has also a safety aspect. Knot control!
O-Key can be used to hold an open carabiner in position for clipsticking. No more need to search for a little piece of wood or a little stone!
Put the O-Key to your loosely bound Figure-eight loop, check your knot!
Important: Only insert the O-Key into the knot so far that the upper opening remains free, in order to be able to insert a carabiner for pulling out the O-key (after hard or wide falls).
To remove the O-Key, at first press at the bottom of the O-Key and then pull at the top.
After removing the O-Key, the knot can be easily opened. To pull out the O-key after long or hard falls, the O-Key can be simply pulled out using a carabine.
